Day 3: Wing Sauces

With playoff parties and family football nights wings have been a big hit this time of year. And nothing is better then wing sauces that has a touch of sweetness to it.


Sweet Buffalo

  • 1/4 Cup Buffalo Sauce

  • 1/4 Cup Melted Butter

  • 1 Tablespoon Honey

  1. In small bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and honey.

  2. Add cooked wings to large mixing bowl. Pour in sauce and toss to coat.

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 5 cloves minced garlic

  • 1/3 cup Sunny Day Honey

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  1. Heat olive oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add in garlic and sauté 90 seconds.

  2. Add in honey, water, vinegar, and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat.

  3. Add cooked wings to large mixing bowl. Pour in sauce and toss to coat.

Honey BBQ Sauce

  • 1 Cup condensed tomato soup

  • 1/2 cup Honey

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon1 lemon juice.

  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Combine all ingredients into a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes. Makes 2 Cups
